New to the 3rd tri & a question about BH.

Hi ladies,

I'm new to the 3rd tri and I can't believe Ive made it here! I've been a bag of nerves and worries this whole pregnancy!

Let me introduce myself & my pregnancy before I go on to ask questions.

This is my second pregnancy but first sucsessful one! I had a MC at 10 weeks last year.

I have had a sort of straight forward pregnancy and had no MS! But I have had 8 UTI's and am now on anti-biotics until I deliver. I see an obs consultant as my uterus is measuring 3 weeks high!

I'm having a 4d scan next Sunday and can't wait to share the pictures with all of you lovely ladies.

Now for the question......

I have been having BH since about 21 weeks. They don't hurt just a tightening sensation. I've notice I've been having quite a few more recently and was wondering if I should be monitoring them? How many is too many at 27 weeks?
I would say I can get about 3 an hour?

Advice would be gratley appriciated (:

Hi, dont worry about BHs you will get more and more as you get closer to your due date, unless they become painful or regular and strong dont worry about them. I know this is your first so you will tend to panic more but honestly you will DEFO know whens the time to do something about them lol xxxx

welcome to 3rd tri!!

I'm a first time mum too

From what I've read on here since joining the 3rd trimester, BH can vary from woman to woman. Some women don't even get them at all (or don't feel them as much anyway). But I read that if you are getting more than 6 per hour then you should speak to your midwife.

xxxxx
