What things have made you cry unexpectedly?

My baby shower was this past weekend, and there were a few gifts that really got the waterworks going for me unexpectedly! One of my friends knitted Chloe a beautiful hat and blanket - I started sobbed uncontrollably! Recovered from that and then opened a gift from my mom a while later. A teeny tiny swimsuit caused tearfest #2.

What things have caught you by surprise with how emotional they've made you? Gotta love those hormones!

A single dirty pan in the sink! I got on my rubber gloves and started to fill up the sink to wash it and I sighed really heavily and OH said, "What's the big deal? It's just one dish!" and I BURST into tears and sobbed for fifteen minutes....and he washed it

I'm from Madison! *wave* I like your story - I should try crying more often instead of turning into a such a grump when there's housework to do.

I cannot read nor watch anything whatsoever to do with animals suffering or being treated badly I know that sets a lot of people off that are not pregnant anyway but for me the reaction has been extreme with the hormones. I will obsess and cry for days if a sad image flashes on TV or in a newspaper. I have to avoid the discovery and animal channel at all costs!

A pampers commercial made me cry, the very thought of holding my baby overwhelms me and will get me going..my DH mentioning to me that I needed to go right instead of left in traffic sets me off..Watching "a baby story" on TLC always gets me..decorating her nursery got me yesterday..LOL Im a hormonal, crying, sniffling mess most the time!

I cried last night because I was starving and DH "forgot" to tell me he wasn't coming home for dinner, I cry at the telly all the time at the moment, doesn't take much! I nearly cried on Sunday when we put together baby's room!
