Personal grooming before delivery

I have some time to think about this and I am just wondering if you ladies will shave/remove hair on your legs and lady bits before delivery?

I think that I want things nice and trimed as I get closer to due date

Last time when I had my son I didn't get to shave a thing and I felt so embarrassed and the Dr. couldn't tell the difference from my hair and the hair on the baby head when the baby was working his was out

Aw, you have to admit, that's kind of funny But I'm sure no matter how much hair there was, your doctor had seen much more unkempt "lady gardens" before!

I'm planning to keep myself as clean shaven as I can down there, though it's already an almost impossible task now so who knows how badly I'll be mangling myself in a month!

With my first DD I actually so happened to shave that day though im sure it looked like a badly groomed chia pet since I did it without actually seeing. Though during labor I didnt even care what i looked like down there I just wanted to get her out of me lol

I'm sorry but !!!!

In all seriousness though, I'm really hoping I'll have time to shave my legs and "trim" on the big day. Even though everyone says you won't care, I know I'll feel a little better and not so stressed worrying I look like a yetti.

I'm planning on trimming, but not shaving.. My hairdresser told me she shaved with her first and all the stretching in that area caused a bunch of painful ingrown hairs

There was actually a posting in my doctor's office the other day saying you shouldn't shave down there 7 days before you're due because the little cuts you get from shaving could become infected during childbirth.

No, but the sign said 7 days before your due date. Obviously if you go into labour before your EDD, there's nothing you can do about it, but I guess the sign was just a precaution for those who aren't early or what not. I don't have any experience with the situation as this is my first pregnancy, but I was just relaying what I had read.

I never heard of this and I shall ask my Dr. I am thinking this would happen only if you shave it too low?
