Cupcake Bakery

just wanted a few of your thoughts on starting a cupcake bakery from home

these are a few i made for my daughters first birthday , the first time i ever made cakes! now i love it and plan on making lots for my girls birthday this week.

i would love to start making them for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, partys etc...

i would get all the correct health and safety certificates & checks.

is this a silly idea?
have you ever brought cupcakes for these occasions?
how much would you spend?
would you pay for deivery?
would you buy as presents instead of flowers/chocolates?

I think the main thing with baking at home is getting all your certificates etc . . . . I think you need your premises to be approved by environmental health? You def need to register.

This link might help . . .

I think its a great idea though and I love the ones you made! I've organised a few weddings who've had cupcake cakes, they always go down well. A good way to get the word out re weddings is to get the venue wedding coordinators on side . . . . a good way to do that would be to take them a cupcake with your business cards etc Its a stressful job (I did it for three years ) and a cupcake to enjoy with a cuppa one afternoon would deff have got you mentioned to some brides!!

My fave cupcakes are Sprinkles in America, yum!!

Good luck, could be lots of fun!!
