Weaning feature - calling all mums with babies aged 8-14 months

I'm writing a feature for Mother & Baby magazine about weaning and we'd like to feature three mums with a baby aged 8-14 months who each approached weaning in a slightly different way. If you feel you fit the bill, please get in touch for more information:

Puree Mum: You're weaning your baby the traditional way, with baby purees, gradually increasing texture as they get older
Baby-led Mum: You're a baby-led weaning follower and let your baby pick up and eat the same kinds of food as you eat
Combination Mum: You feed your baby with a a combination of purees and finger foods

What I'll want to know about you:

When and why did you start weaning your baby?
Why did you pick your particular approach?
What was your baby's first food? How did he/she react?
What was your first weaning disaster?
What's your fail-safe food?
What three things have you learnt during the weaning process?

If you're interested in being featured, all it would involve is a short chat over the phone about your baby's eating habits. You'll need to provide a picture of you and your baby, and if you have them, pictures of the weaning experience (messy faces etc).

Please email hannah.fox@bauermedia.co.uk for more information.

Thanks!
