What made you decide if you wanted more children or not?? We have our Girl Mia 5yrs and our Boy Finnlay 6 weeks. We said that we wanted two children aprox 5yrs apart which we have(we are very lucky)!!I am just sat here thinking OMG I am never going to have another baby,I am not what you would call a broody person ie friends babys do not make me go all broody I adore my own children and I think because we have said no more I am really wondering if its the right thing to do and say def no!or do you keep your options open? Just wondered what made you decide to have more or what made you not decide not to have anymore. |
Pretty much once I got healed up from the birth experience, I took one look at little Edward and thought "I can't possibly only have one of these". I still feel that way, he is such a joy, if I wasn't so old I'ld probably have a dozen :D |
Well, Simon is the most glorious baby ever invented so he just must have a sibling! :) I would ideally like one of each, but I am happy to have just one more (OH would like to entertain the possiblity of three). I am also mindful of age, fertility and risk, so if it doesn't work out that we can have another of our own for some reason, we will adopt. |
I am just keeping my options open, I knew I wanted at least two children with quite a small age gap so I am lucky too :D I am still undecided if I want more, but I am thinking about it so I must do  OH wants another 2! :) I cant imaging Rosie being my last baby in the house & I am only 24 & I always seen myself with a busy house full of kids. I was an only child & hated it  x |
well i wanted 4yrs between mine lol...that kinda didnt happen tbh archie was the wworst newborn ever! i no im a meani but he was al he did was cry an cry an cry and cry lol..put me right off another. im preying this `1 is an angel xxx |
as im only 16  i wont be having any more for at least 3 years i hope lol! but both me and OH are from big familys so noise it practicaly a must have haha, luckily Harriets a really good girl, i had a great pregnancy, birth and labour and if the next one is as good as her ill have 10 haha only joking i wouldnt mind having 3 though. hopefully once she starts school ill have another 1 or 2 :) x |
lookng at alys i could never imagine not having atleast another 1 but ideally we want three! i love being a mummy and im always super broody! xx |
I always wanted 2 but then I changed my mind and figured 1 was better mostly because we can't afford to have 2. But I'm scared of hospitals and had a home birth but afterwards they discovered I carry Group B Strep so I'd have to be on antibiotics and monitored in labour next time which I don't think I could handle after having a home birth iykwim? I also got a nasty womb infection and mastitis and I just think I'd be happier putting all my time and love into him rather than having to juggle two. |
I would be happy with just tyler but i would really like him to have a sibling so thats my reason for having another and plus im super broody atm :) x |
We haven't had number 1 yet but there is already a plan for number 2. We want 2 school years between them so, as this one is an October baby, we need to leave 24 months at least which means starting to TTC in Feb/March 2011. Hubby would like to have more but he refuses to drive a people carrier! :dohh: I'm not particularly broody but I love the thought of us having a family....so 2 is fine, of course this one may have other ideas but I was an only child and didnt particularly like it so would like a sibling for this little monster! |
