i cant take the constant nausea, HELP! i really cant handle it! i feel sick , really sick all day long, its gradually lasting longer and longer i am welcoming ANY tips that have worked for you girls to help you stop feeling sick, i cant even take a deep breath without wanting to be sick, its horrid |
eating in small portions and water,sometimes though i do have to have a lay down.. hope this helps x |

Hi ya hun, really sorry your going through the awful sickness it really does take the p*** doesnt it. Im am still having it unfortunately but im one of the unlucky ones. Take each day as it comes, have dry crackers by your bed. Do not drink fluid and eat at the same time, wait till after your meal before having fluid. Make sure you take all your prenatals with your main meal rather than on an empty stomach as it will make you feel sick as you like if you take your vitamins on an empty stomach. Try not to feel as if you have to be eating healthily all the time, just eat whatever you feel like . You can catch up on nutrition later on in pregnancy. Also, when it starts to feel like your suffocating go and stand outside in the garden in the fresh air and take some deep breaths, sounds random but it helps. Dont eat too much fatty, stodgy food but if thats all that you feel you can stomach go for now go for it. Some food in your system is better than no food. If you start actually being sick, make sure you drink lots of water as dehydration can be harmful for the baby. I had awful "morning" sickness and it went away 2-3 weeks ago only to come back! All I can advise is to watch out for things that make it worse and avoid them if at all possible. I could not avoid brushing my teeth witch made me sick but could avoid eating as soon as I get up as I can not really eat until 2-3 hours after getting up. A lot of people recommend ginger but that did not personally help me (worth a try though). |

Don't know if will help as i've been very lucky but my friend said she sucked barley sugars or any other boiled sweets morning, noon and night and that helped her x |

Hi sweetie, hang in there :hugs: my friend bought me some sea bands yesterday, they are wrist bands that work based on acupressure. I swear they worked for me, whether there is something scientific to it or if it's more psychological I don't know, but I don't really care. They could be worth a try if you wanted to try something non medical and something that doesn't involve eating xxxx |
