My stomach hurts every time I eat.

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and my tummy is swollen just as it was when I was pregnant with my daughter. I'm so hungry, yet every time I eat my tummy hurts so I can't eat as much as I would like. It feels like it's pushing up on something when it's full. Does anyone else have this? It started much later in my last pregnancy. It's driving me crazy because I want to eat....I'm hungry all the time.

In my last pregnancy, I was feeling pains in my stomach and I would describe the pains as feeling really full, like my stomach was stretched from overeating, although I hadn't. It was much later on in my pregnancy though and I went to the hospital where they found my liver had gone out of whack. It was enlarged and very painful, but I honestly thought it was my stomach. I have no idea why my liver went so haywire because I had a great pregnancy and ate very healthy.

If your worried at all, I'd recommend getting it checked out soon. I waited about 4 days because I thought it was normal pregnancy pains due to stretching or something, but it ended up being pretty serious and they had to deliver my baby within about 4 hours of arriving at the hospital which shocked the heck out of me and hubby as he was still nearly a month early. Not trying to scare you, but if it gets really uncomfortable, please get yourself checked or talk to your midwife to put your mind at ease.

Next to back pain , hip pain & tiredness this is probably my worse thing. Mine started about Xmas but I suppose coupled with my uterus being higher and the fact I was eating more it's been so painful. It's seems the food sits for ages just under my boobs and the stretching is so uncomfortable.. Then back pain sets in! Nothing relieves mine other than laying down on my back with me propped up with pillows. Try eating less, I've halved my dinners but eating more snacks and also standing and eating seems so work sometimes so try that if your at home. Mine seems to be worse if I'm sitting scrunched up. I'm only 25 weeks... 15 weeks of pain left to go!!

I'm skipping meals to keep this pain away. I know it's bad but my pain gets to a level I feel my legs and arms feel absolute lack of any enerrgy. Previous post that pointed out walking/standing is so true in my case as well

This is exactly how I feel. The food sits under my boobs for hours and it is so uncomfortable. I find sitting on all fours helps, but how long can I really sit in that position for!? It is worse when I'm sitting scrunched up too. I'm going to start eating less, but I'm so hungry all the time that it's hard to do. I'll talk to my doctor more about it when I see her next.
