Help! New to OPKs and want to do it right.
 

Just got my pack of OPKs yesterday morning, so I tested once yesterday at 4pm. Got a negative (is that what you call it?).

They're so negative! I'm testing again at 4pm - does that sound like enough time in between or should I do them at 12pm and 6pm instead? Should I even take another one tonight or should I just test again tomorrow at 12 and see if it gets darker at all, and if it is, then test again in the evening? HELP!

Need advice, suggestions, opinions, whatev!

PS - ignore my hairy tape, LOL! Had to dig the tape out of my dusty desk drawer!

I would test once a day first until you get a darker line then start testing every 12 hours. No point wasting money on the tests. Unless you do chartings before, and know that you're close to ovulation any day now?

I test once a day at 5pm (ish) xxxx

The best time to test is between 12 to 8pm. I usually test twice a day once around lunchtime and a second time around 6pm and have always caught my surge :)
