low sperm count

hi there,

My name is lisa, I am new here.

My husband appears to have low sperm count around 17 million and below par on the other tests he had taken.

We have been trying for over a year now.

Is there anything we can do to increase the count,
Is it still possible to fall pregnant with slightly lower count?

We are awaiting a post coital test and sperm results again for the gyni department.

Lisa.

Welcometo BnB!!!!

well, to be honest, it only takes one...... my DH has low count and activity and we finally managed a BFP couple of months ago. Unfortunatley, it didnt last, but thats not the point for you gal, one is all you need!!!

Mens health vitamins have lots of the good stuff in that men need for healthy sperm. I googled what certain things sperm needs to thrive and be more fertile, then changed our diet, etc to help. he has one last test at the end of the month so hopefully we'll see a difference,

good luck on your journey

I read somewhere that zinc is good for sperm, and surprisingly that folic acid helps too.

Don't know how true it is, but it may be worth a try...

Good luck ttc
