AF after unsucessful IVF

Hello ladies, any advice?

I started spotting 6days after transfer until AF started (9days in total). My AF was 3 days - light, medium, light and then spotting for 5days and then 3 clear days and then suddenly the past two days I've had bright red spotting and passing clots (not loads but medium sized).
We had

for 2nights before this latest spotting started but it didn't hurt or anything.

Did anyone have anything like this?
Do you think my AF wasn't heavy coz of all the spotting?

I think maybe I need a good clear out

I'm hoping this doesn't mess my cycle up as I'm due to start the pill ready for another IVF cycle in August

My consultant said that first bleed is not normally normal that's why they usualy want you to wait 2 bleed after that so you get back to normal and so your eggies are ready again. My AF was normal bit heavier than normal but i've never really spotted so can't help really but I know he was surprised when I said mine was normal as he said most peoples aren;t.

I expect Bding dislodged a bit more or something!

When i read that i thought it was very similar to my ectopic m/c. I started off with 3 days of spotting, 3 days of a light period, 3 days of spotting. Then a week off then spotting which went onto 3 weeks of bleeding (found out after the 2nd wk it was ectopic).

I also had a negative test when i had this period. 2 weeks later i started to bleed, and i was pregnant with an ectopic. My story is in the GS.

Sorry, dont want to alarm you, but i also thought the bleeding was me having a clear out. Anyway its just a thought. I do hope everything is ok x x x

Sorry Tans ... My AFs after my cycles were all pretty normal ... a bit heavier and more painful, but the usual 3-4 days and then all away. No spotting or anything confusing I'm afraid.

Hey Tansey,

This is so confusing for sure. I know I feel a bit confused about my cycle right now. For my iui I had 1.5 weeks of low does ivf stims. I had a normal af I thought - but when I went in for an internal scan on cd3 the scan showed my lining was still 6!!! And my af only last 4 days... I feel like all the blood didn't get out.

Are you able to ask at your clinic?

If it carries on i'll go back the GP wasn't too bad yesterday but driving me mad wondering if i dare go to work without a panyliner on (i've got spares in my bag) and also if my cycle was back to normal I should be

now - hoping to be one of those miracles who gets pg after IVF cycle!
When my acupuncturist is better I'll be going back before next AF as she can help my body have a proper clear out.
