Hi Tor!
That's really cool. I will be having an app within the next few weeks and hoping that I'll be put on clomid too. I'll be interested to see how you go

Thanks Coco, I will def keep you updated, make sure you do the same.

After 18 months of not getting anywhere ourselves I'm just so grateful for the help, really really really hope it works. It kinda feels like the TTC journey is starting again, as opposed to last month before I'd been referred to the infertility team when all I was feeling was despair.

xx

I will do.
I know how you feel, been trying for 12 months and only just managed to stop stressing out because my hosp app is keeping me going! So I'm hoping I get good news to feel positive for Christmas! I don't know how people go through this for years!
I'm thinking that because my cycles are so irregular they will just put me on clomid right away... x

Hi Tor!
I also just started my first round of clomid. I'm taking mine cd 5-9, so my first pill was last night. I too am trying to be optimistic but realistic at the same time. I would love to get a BFP this month but I'm really hoping that I will at least ovulate. Good luck this month!!

Hi all. So CD2 & I'm about to pop the pills, a little nervous about side effects, especially as DH is away tonight but I'm sure it'll be fine. And have to go to the hospital tomorrow morning for CD3 bloods.. DH usually drives, plus he's taken the sat nav so I bet I get lost in rush hour, at least they don't need to measure my blood pressure cos it's likely to be through the roof!

Coco - they put me straight on Clomid without being sure I wasn't ovulating, so I guess they'll def put you straight on it too, but reading posts by other girls it sometimes seems to depend on the doctor you get. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, when is your appointment?

Libs - let's hope Clomid works for us, like you say we're not greedy & don't expect a BFP first time, but a BFP by xmas would be amazing, and with Clomid it's suddenly become much more likely!!! How have you found taking it, any side effects?

Fredlover - thank you so much for sharing your success story, really appreciate some of your Clomid Baby dust!!

xx

Hi Tor, good luck this week. Hope all goes well.

-I think so but everyone has different stories.
Well, my b/f has a docs app for results on 13th and I have a docs app to be referred to the infertility clinic on the 16th.
I had an app within a week when I was referred before (but had to cancel to wait for b/f's results) so should be on my way in October

How come different people take clomid on different cycle days?

Good luck to you too Libs.

So far so good, no bad side effects. Actually no side effects at all. My doctor only gave me one month supply and said if I don't ovulate with it then they will need to do further testing so my fingers are crossed that I will at least ovulate. I've got the digital opk's this month to see if they help me and I think I might test twice a day this time just to cover my bases ( probably a little over kill but you never know) :-). Let me know how things go with you guys.

I don't know why people take Clomid on different cycle days, it doesn't seem to make sense. And some people seem to start on 50mg and others to straight onto 100mg.

Coco, hope you get your FS appointment in October, maybe you'll get Clomid in time for your next cycle!

Libs, I've not got digital opks, just cheap eBay ones, but I know what you mean about twice a day, I might do that too, after all this I don't want to get BD timing wrong.
