Taking clomid on different cycle days! Does it make a difference?

Hi, I took my first round of clomid on days 2-6! Assuming I'm
not pg this month I gave to ring the clinic when af comes! By my calcs she will arrive on Saturday when the clinic is closed, so by the time they are open on Monday to give me my prescription I'll be on day 3!

I know some people take it later anyway, I just wondered what days people take it on and if it really makes any difference?

Different doctors prescribe it on different cycle days. I took mine on cycle days 3-7. If you are worried about the clinic being closed, you can call and ask if you can get your prescription early.

i took mine 3-7 on 1st cycle and 2-6 on 2nd and 3rd. Im thinking of doing 5-9 next cycle. I just think the earlier you take it the more eggs you produce, the later you take it the less eggs but better quality and a better lining for implantation. (so im gonna go later next cycle just to see if it makes a difference in getting my BFP.... thats if I dont get lucky this month).

Thanx! That makes me feel a bit better! I asked if I could just get my prescription early bit they won't until I start to bleed!
