Good news for dh!

Hi there everyone! I haven't posted in a long time, so I guess it's time for an update.
Well, my Dh is on week 13 of his Ovidrel and Menopur injections. His FSH is up from being zero and is in the normal range. That means somethings happening. So nervous to do a SA.
Could possibly be sperm present as it's been 91 days already!

ICSI sucks and I don't want to travel that road again. DH will just have to keep up with the injections until I'm preggies the natural way!

Not long now...I pray. Don't give up, there is always a solution! I'm glad I didn't to the whole Donor thing that our FS kept shoving in our faces....as conceiving our own baby is not so far away!

Good luck! Hope you get a great result with your SA.

I've never heard about Ovidrel and Menopur injections, so now I'm off to do a little research. You learn something new around here everyday!

Aren't Ovidrel and Menopur for stimulating follicles? I.E. they're for women not men?

Drugs.com had the following to say: "Use in males—Menotropins are used to stimulate the production of sperm in some forms of male infertility... For causing ovulation in women to help them become pregnant... For producing sperm in men."

Interesting!

Interesting!
I wonder why my FS has never suggested this! she was actually quite negative and said 'he was born like that and nothing can be done to help him'

I agree with ao30, that is very interesting. Does the FS prescribe it to you?
