anyone had long 40 day cycles and then short 20 day cycles?? mine are all over

Hi Ladies

I've had some funny cycles the past few months and wondered if anyone was going through or has been through the same?
If you have what happened? did you have a problem ovulating or did it just start to get more regular over time?

My cycles since i came off the pill end of feb have been 28, 28, 37, 33, 32, 42, 23 days long
bit of a difference in them!!

i have my next appointment at the fertility clinic in 2 weeks so i'm wondering what they are gonna think of my crazy cycles and whether this means i'm not ovulating

any ideas ladies?

Sorry hun - my cycles have always been between 24 & 27 days so I know that doesn't help, and you probably don't want to hear that either - sorry. Just wanted to wish you luck at your next appointment. Are you taking a record of all your cycles with you to your appointment?

my cycles do move around a bit 46,46,30,33,33,33,39,34. I'm fairly confident I'm ovulating as day 21 tests came back fine, and my temps always show a clear shift each month and EWCM seems in line too.

Your cycles do vary but they are pretty much all within whats regarded as normal so I dont think that in itself indicated you're not O'ing. Do you temp at all?

xxx

Hey bird,
I don't have any answers, but if it helps, you're not alone!
I've given up on my cycles now. I thought they were settling down a bit as the last 3 have been 33 days, but then last cycle shocked me with AF turning up on CD 22!
I just completely give up on trying to work them out! I take comfort though from the fact that plenty of other irregular ladies on here have got their BFPs, even some who've had 80-odd day cycles!

If you temp and it shows ovulation then you don't need Clomid. Honestly, it's hideous to take. I wouldn't recommend it to those who actually do ovulate. It can help regulate your cycles though, apparently.

i cant take my temps again as that stressed me out loads and i dont wanna think about it so much
i had 21 day bloods done and that didnt show ovulation so i think i might need it
do you take it at night? i've seen some ladies say that it can help with the side affects as you sleep them off
how long have you been taking it?
x
