Lots of good tips and motivation in this thread. Although I broke my fast 1/2 way through my cycle for 2 mos (abstained from sugar, dairy, red meat cd1-14 for 2 cycles), apparently that was enough to stop my acne in its tracks. And when af comes there's very little pain and clotting--and again this is with me eating right 1/2 the month. I'm back on track meaning eating almonds, broccoli, oranges, cauliflower, limited fish, greens.

Hi there,
I just thought that I would revive this thread in case anyone wants to join me. I am just finishing Dian Shepperson Mill's book: Endometriosis, a key to healing and fertility through nutrition. It is a very very interesting book and I hope I can get on the diet. My goals are to eat more healthy and try to cut out wheat and diary and chocolate (plus red meat which is no problem)
Do any of you happen to know why it is okay to eat goat diary and not cows dairy?
Amber

I've also read that plastics can exasperate endo. So good to avoid: microwaving food in plastic, storing food in plastic, using plastic water bottles. Tin cans can also be lined with BPA which is not healthy, so best to either buy food in BPA-free cans, or avoid canned. (e.g. using dried beans instead of canned beans)
