Finally after 2 cancelled appointments, my appointment to see gynaecologist to discuss my results from HSG (BACK IN MAY!!!!!!!) and also my bloods etc (as they were fine and then had 2 more lots done and came back low progesterone) is on Monday 3rd October.
My partner did not come to initial appt, but they asked that he was there this time, and guess what he has agreed to overtime at another work site quite a distance away so will be away 2 nights and wont be here monday.
I am so frigging mad at him and rather than apologise to me or anything he just starts shouting at me that we need the money to pay bills and also he was going to surprise me with a fertility monitor ( how convienient he says that, not a surprise no more is it, if that was even the case)
He says he wants this more than me, so why is it always me doing the reasearch, the appointments, the crying, the stressing, the comfort eating, more crying, more stressing. ARGH HE MAKES ME SO MAD
Firstly can i say you have the patience of a saint waiting all that time! So pleased you have your appointment next week, you deserve it. We also have an apptment next week to get our info on IUI and what happens next.... can't wait!
I agree though, men just don't have the same urgency as us! I could have screamed at my hubby in the clinic reception when he declined an appointment 3 weeks ago that could have meant i start IUI this cycle. It's only delayed us by 1 cycle but that 1 cycle means a lot to me lol. He put work first on that occasion. I would leave work at the drop of a hat for an appointment. It's not really a case of his priorities being wrong, more like me being obsessed with having a baby!
Nice of your hubby to surprise you with a fertility monitor though, that should earn him some brownie points
thanks for reply. Im so angry at him right now. He hasn't got me monitor, he saying that some of the overtime money was going towards one as a suprise for me (personally i think he just saying that to get out of trouble with me)
Hope your appt goes well next week, please keep me updated xx
I got my results back 3 weeks later...after my gyno mysteriously quit. That's from me calling them and getting shifted to a new gyno, that's so-so. Such a nerve-wracking time waiting for those darn results!!
Hopefully, they get you back in soon!
Maybe DH will surprise you with the fertility monitor. I would probably faint if my husband mentioned buying me one. He chooses to ignore this infertility like it isn't happening . Men..
