Unexplained infertility

Hello everyone, I am just looking for someone to talk to. I went through a lot of testing 3 years and nothing was ever discovered. I have regular cycles, but have never gotten pregnant.

I am trying Ovulex, worked for my husband's aunt. This is my second month. My cycles are 27-29 days. Cd 1 was Nov 13. I had brown spotting, very light, on Thursday, cd 12. Lasted maybe 1.5 hours. I have never had this, ever. My breasts and nipples have been sore the last two days, something I haven't experienced in a long time.

Does anyone think these are good changes? Just looking for some hope. Thanks.

In a lot of cases unexplained just means they don't have the resources to get to the bottom of it. Spotting can be down to low progesterone or endometriosis. What tests have you had??

Hi there.

I have unexplained infertility. I've had both primary and secondary unexplained infertility.

I am not sure about your symptoms. They could be from the meds you are taking.

I hope it works well for you. Good luck.

Ask for a lap to detect/remove endometriosis. As another poster wrote- you can have it without any symptoms at all. Plus whether or not you get cramps- they are minld or agony- doesn;t determine the levels of endo you have. It is worth having the lap to investigate.

This was me between 2004 - 2008! That was before I pushed for a laparoscopy which discovered moderate endometriosis. I was not really symptomatic at all (aside from painful periods, which I thought was normal). I had it removed successfully at the same time and then conceived my son 7 months later. He was born in March 2010 and after breastfeeding for 18 months I got pregnant again with no wait whatsoever!
IMHO I think EVRYONE who is diagnosed with infertility should be investigated for endometriosis. Good luck!

Hi ladies, I have unexplained infertility. had lots of tests 3 years ago also. HSG, scan, bloods, I have regular cycles, ovulate day 14. I get an LH surge every month etc... DH was tested and all ok. I also had one molar pregnancy (only time I have have ever got pg!) so I had scans and a D&C and they never found any endometriosis or anything like that? I had a small polyp removed after the HSG and they never mentioned finding any other issues. I did have a scan this year when I had some unexplained bleeding and I was due to ovulate at the time, it was a one off, but he did say all looked normal on the scan, I had a 'bulky' uterus which he said he would expect for someone in their 30's!?

So, what are we all trying?? my list is:

Vitex/agnus castus up to ovualtion
Royal jelly
Q10
folic acid
Pre-seed and cough mixture.
OPK's.

I'm on Femara and HCG injections and trying naturally with those. How effective that will be with one tube blocked and one open- I don't know.
