AMH cost

hi ladies
its been suggested that i have an AMH performed to answer some peculiar blood results. as the consultant has informed us the test isnt covered under the NHS so we would have to pay for it. have any of you ladies had to pay the NHS for this and if so how much was it as my consultant isnt really sure as to the cost of it?
thanks in advance

x

I haven't paid the nhs but I have had this test done through private clinics (I'm not sure you can pay the nhs to do it tbh).

It ranges in price based on where you go, I typically have paid £60 - £80 for the test.

Hi there,

I had my AMH tested privately and it cost 80 pounds. I think it depends on where you get it done though. Mine only took 4 days to process the results.

:sigh: at £100 I suspect the NHS are making a little profit there tbh. Naughty really that they offer it but charge you.

I think you could expect to pay up to £150, but hopefully you'll find it for less. I also bet its about profit and I'd ask your GP how much they'd charge before you go to a private clinic.
