Hey ladies,

Well I have taken my first dose of soy tonight... I'm not sure if it will work... but I'm hoping its going to do some good and I can tell my specialist I've got a BFP at my next appointment... although I'm not going to get my hopes up... I think I'm going to have to try a bit of distraction once the next 2ww starts or else I may just go a little crazy lol.... good luck to you all xx

Welcome flygirl, of course you can join us! Have you got your clomid yet? We've been trying for about 3 years now I'm hoping soo much that soy has an affect!
indiapops-keep us updated on your symptoms etc! Your not far behind me, I'm cd9 today, such a long wait! Hoping I ovulate soon, if I do normally, and this is just a guess, it should be around cd23-28!? Did you say what dose you are taking? X x x

Hey,

I've started on 160mg... I'm a little worried its going to make it hard for me to predict ovulation as I can usualy see when my surge is about to show up... but in for a penny in for a pound I guess anything is worth a shot lol... last night was only my first night taking it and I was boling but I'm not sure if its the soy that made that happen it just seemed odd...

let us know if it pushes your ovulation forward of back at all... xx

Jojono2-thanks! I have 32 day cycles so if AF doesn't show up, I'm currently cd14 AF should show up April 22, I have to go in CD3-5 for ultrasound and bloodwork to make sure I can start clomid which I will then take CD5-9.

What is this soy everyone is talking about? I'm thinking” like soy milk?” Is it a supplement? How do you take it and where do you get it from? I've never heard of soy door IF. Thanks guys

Indiapops- yes, the soy can make you hot at night, my partner always mentions how hot I am ;-) defo the soy!!!

Flygirl- I got my soy from holland and barrett, you can also get it in tesco and health shops, its like a natural clomid, I tried clomid but it affected my eyesight so doctor won't prescribe it anymore

Dylis- yes it can affect ov, it can bring it forward quite a bit, but it can also knock it back, have you got regular cycles? X x x

Sometimes, if you take soy when you have a regular cycle it can mess your cycles up! It does still work for some people, if you take soy cd5-9 its ment to improve the quality of the egg!? I've taken mine days 4-8, sooo fingers crossed!!! But my cycles can be very irregular and I also have pcos, so soy was the best answer for Me! X x x
