Vitex

Has anyone tried Vitex? I just started it today. I am taking 800mg in the morning and 400mg in the afternoon.

If you have taken it or know of someone who took it, how long did it take to get results?

I started taking Vitex about a month ago. I take 800mg once per day in the morning. The only result I have seen so far is that it seems to control the constant hormonal moods I was having. I have PCOS and my hormones were very out of whack. I have not had a regular period yet, but all the reading and research that I have done has said that it takes about 3 months of taking it regularly for it to really get in your system and start to work.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I have polycystic ovaries without the syndrome. Vitex helped me ovulate. I also drank fertilitea which contains vitex. It took almost 8 months until I became regular and tested positive for ovulation. Good luck and baby dust!
