It sucks especially that I REALLY get my hopes up everytime I'm on it

Do you know when you're going to start acupuncture?

Yeap, I'm going on the 28th for my first session. I've been in for the consultation and got some literature on it - but the actual acupuncture starts then.

I still get my hopes up every month too... WHY do we still do that? I know better and do it every month. This month I thought for sure we had it, but then af showed and I cried for a whole day

I'm working really hard on not letting it be so stressful... easier said than done though! I just want it more than I have ever wanted anything in my life and it SUCKS there's nothing I can do to control it!

Ahh yes I've been there too. That's what happened the last time I was on clomid. I was seriously so depressed when AF showed, I didn't even wanna get out of bed.

I don't know why we do it to ourselves. I guess we just can't help it because our heart yearn for a baby so bad

I hope your first session goes well! I really wanna do it too. Do you have to pay a lot for it?

It's not too bad... The initial cost is $120.00 then it's $60.00 each session after that. You can also do package deals to cut some of the cost. We've had to cut back on other stuff to afford it. Hopefully it will help

Good luck Boat Girl...sorry af showed

Needababy, is that the cost of clomid for you? Doesyour insurance not cover it? Clomid costs me $9 a month...no wonder I've been on it for 8months...lol. I can see why other people don't do a lot of cycles if that's what it cost them.

Jasiellover, I get my hopes up every month too...I don't think it can be helped. I think the only time I didn't get all depressed around af was when I knew I was going in for my fs consultation. But now after one "check and make sure everything is working like it's supposed to" month and now on my second iui, the let downs are worse than before. I'm hoping I don't have to be let down this month, but if I do, that it won't be so bad.

Needababy now that's not too bad if it actually works and helps reduce your stress.

Boat_Girl .. I really hope this second round works for you! I'm hoping the fourth time is the charm for me :/

Nodoubt- Seriously, getting your hopes up is the worsttttttttttt. The only time I didnt stress was the first time I took clomid. Then after it didnt work I got a little worried.. then second didnt work..or third.. then i was like oh snap. SO I'm REALLY hoping this round is it for both of us!! Especially now that we had a like 8 month break since any kind of treatment. If youre doing an IUI with clomid ..it's really hard not to get your hopes up :/

Is it just me or does clomid give you weird dreams too? I take it before bed so I don't feel the symptoms as much and I have crazy weird dreams!

Lol...I've always had weird dreams every now and again but for the past few months I've definitely been having a lot more. Less this month though.

Hey no doubt! That is the cost for acupuncture, starting that next Saturday.
Jasiellover, not too bad if it helps. She wants me to go weekly, if it gets too expensive I will just go every other week.

Hope you all are having a great week!
