Blocked tubes hurry up and wait

As the title suggests I have blocked tubes. Found out nearly 3 months ago. Am waiting on surgery less than a month from now to hopefully get an answer as to why I have blocked tubes (based on history pain etc ) it's likely endometrosis.

After surgery I have to likely wait another 2 cycles to heal. I'm so very frustrated and to be honest down and on the verge of throwing it away.

In Ontario, don't you guys get three rounds of IVF if the tubes are bilaterally blocked? That sucks if you don't. Cannulation was successful for me for a proximal blockage, did they tell you where the blockage is? I suppose they'll find out more during the lap.

Crossing my fingers that it all goes well for you.

IVF does cover if blocked. I'm asking Friday how that is determined tho because re said blocked radiologist report said open. So I'm not certain what they will do while they are inside. Hopefully more answers Friday. as for block I had hsg no spill so blocked right at start of tubes

Proximal blockages are much more promising! It could very well just be a spasm of the tubes, which happens during HSGs and shows up as a proximal blockage. They are also much easier to clear during lap or with cannulation. If it has to be something crappy that happens, this is much less crappier than other things, hehe.

I was diagnosed with bilateral blocked tubes early this year. I went through lap about 10days back and both my tubes were successfully unblocked. My left tube had a proximal block while the right one showed no spillage. My FS said the blocks happened due to endo, he found it during lap and that it is in very early stages, though I have never had any symptom whatsoever of endo. He is putting me on BCP for the next two cycles during which my endo would dry up and then the go ahead for TTC. I am sure yours too can be unblocked with lap, please do not give up hope. Good luck.

Anne. Did they do some excision of endo and a further dye test? I'm interested hence asking fertility clinic how supposed to work how they might unblock during lap

Hi Lawyer I dont think they did any excision of endo. Mine was in a very early stage and hence my FS is putting me in BCP for the next two cycles during which the endo would cure. I have posted my lap report(almost verbatim) in another thread, you can check if you want http://www.babyandbump.com/secondary...egnancy-3.html
