Start your shopping?
Ermm, probably not until November or December. With a little one of the way everyone has already said not to spend anything on them and just use the money on our little one. So we'll just get a couple of little things late, only stuff we might buy early as 'early presents' for bubs, probably mostly clothes

Put up decorations?
Through out the whole house, start/middle of December. Our bedroom I like doing in October/November so I can enjoy it longer, plus we don't usually come back (to my parents house, where we celebrate) until a week before Christmas, and this way the decorations are up already. =D

Can't wait! To be honest, our Christmas lights never came down last year so they're still there.

Plan your holiday meal?
I don't! Thankfully this is up to DH and my dad. They usually plan it 4 days before Christmas

Plan your holiday parties?
It's always the same, so not much planning involved. In Holland (where we celebrate Christmas with my family) we have 2 days of Christmas. What's called Boxing Day in England is just another day of Christmas in Holland.

So on the first day we usually celebrate by having breakfast together (me, DH, mum, dad & brother), open presents with coffee around lunch time and have dinner with my grandmother & grandfather in the evening

On the second day we sleep in, do nothing special until dinner when we have dinner (at ours, both days) with my other grandmother, my auntie & uncle and my cousins.

Probably in October

Put up decorations?
The day after Thanksgiving has always been the day for me lol

Plan your holiday meal?
Depends on if I'm even gonna be home for Christmas or not. If I am then I usually start planning right before the last paycheck before Christmas day

Plan your holiday parties?
Usually this gets done in November with any fine tuning done in early December

Start your shopping?
I pick things up in sales whenever I see them, normally July onwards.

Put up decorations?
Start of December, when the advent calendar starts!

Plan your holiday meal?
Depends how much time I have but I normally search for ideas/recipes from the beginning of December or if I see them on TV or whatever.

Plan your holiday parties?
We don't have parties, but the relatives will all be visiting at some point.
