no santas grotto

barnsley have said that they will NOT have a santas grotto this year as it upsets other cultures

so the nearest one is 15 miles away and they que up to 2 hrs to see santa so looks like my kids wont be seeing him this year

also barnsley have decided not to put up the nativity scene out side of the town hall am sorry but our town looks like we dont like christmas

sorry for the rant im not against other cultures living in england and we all have our rights to believe in diff things but dont they see a lot of kiddies are missing out on seeing santa

dont mean to sound awful in anyway

I understand totally, we dont get upset my other peoples cultures and traditions like Diwali and Ramadan etc so why would anyone get upset by a Christmas Nativity scene.

PC gone crazy!!!
I think its terrible, and in the majority of cases it's not the ethic minorites that are upset by it but do gooders sticking thier oar in. The other cultures probabally have to travel 2 hours for their kids to see Santa too... oh the irony!

who gets upset by santas grotto?! Thats ridiculous. Hes a made up character who delivers presents to children. Nothing really religious about him whatsoever.

madness! other cultures probably arnt even botherd i mean its british tradition they live in britan its likely they expect it anyway, its other people making a big fuss over it! it gives people a bad name you get narrow minded idiots saying things like get out of our country if you dont like it, when its not the majority but a very small mininorty that are botherd by it!
