a word of warning to those who were pre-building toys on xmas eve...

DON'T!
i WAS going to do this ^, when last night, all of a sudden i had a burst of energy!
as many of you know, my DH and i have purchased a wooden kitchen, as great an idea it was to buy one, it was UNREALISTIC to put the thing together in one evening, especially xmas eve.
i quickly found this out when i opened the box, to my horror... NO INSTRUCTIONS/DIRECTIONS just a photocopied list of what contents there are in the box!?!? WTF! and a quick diagram of what sized screws to use in which pieces of wood.
sooooo glad my DH decided to play his PS3 instead of help, the damn thing would've been thrown out the window!
so, i started to put it together at 8:45 after EASTENDERS and a cuppa
there are 5 boxes altogether, one is a fridge, a microwave, a sink with a cupboard, a washing machine and an oven.
i put together the fridge and microwave, which i finished at 11.00pm!!!

SO PLEASED! i started now, as i have also used the fridge as a xmas cupboard and then wrapped it in a black bin liner, so the kids don't see it! xxxxx

hope this helps someone! and inspires them to get cracking NOW!

We take everything out the box shortly after buying to make sure all the parts are there and see how hard it'll be to put up. We don't have i huge amount of space to hide built up toys though.

Can I ask which wooden kitchen you have bought??

We have the little tikes one x But if we build it early 1) I dont have anywhere to hide it & 2) I'll end up letting him play with it

we are staying at my parents over xmas so there will be 6 adults to help build it x Hope this is enough time x
