HSG tomorrow

Im rather scared and my stomach is in knots

can anyone tell me truth about the pain if yours was a good or bad experience xxx

Hi Jenny25,

Sorry I can't be more help as i haven't actually had a HSG myself but I'm sort of thinking i may have to have one - have my first appt with fertility specialist in a month's time. I have had a look at some previous posts on this site though and the majority of them say it is just like AF cramps and only lasts 10 - 20 seconds. They all seem to say it wasn't as bad as they were expecting!!!

Not sure if you've already done it or not, but I personally didn't find it too terrible.
I've had worse things done, that's for sure.
I was able to drive myself there and back. I did need motrin that night for cramping.

I see you are pregnant now! Congrats!! Do you think the HSG had any play in that? I got mine done last week and am hoping to have the same results!!
