How Soon Is Too Soon?

So, me and John split not even a week ago, and a pal came around last night, he was only meant to drop off a dvd but he was sayin his mum and dad had friends up from england in his house was full of some very drunk loud people

then he asks if he could stay at mines for an hour or so. So we ended up watching the dvd he had originally came to hand in

I'll get to the point now..we kissed..Like passion filled kissed. And i'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed it. But..its really soon and I know it will hurt John. And since we split on good terms I dont wanna ruin that. My mum was up when this guy left, and she spoke to him and once he left she never anything about it to me, so I guess she was fine with it. But..I dont know if she might mention it infront of john.

I guess I just dont know whether I should tell him or not?

Well this guy has liked me since he started working beside me, being a year and a half ago now, which he only told me today. I liked him then too, but was obviously with john so nothin came of it. Now im not with john im really beginnin to notice him again. Theres been flirty texts exchanged but I didnt think he liked me that way till last nite.

I wouldnt say we were goin to start a relationship anytime soon. If anythin maybe a few dates.

No hes not johns pal. I think hes met him once when we were in ASDA shopping. But we had a works night out and we were together all nite then when I came home I was extremely drunk and called John by the other guys name.

i wouldn't say anything, have some dates, people might think it's a bit too soon, so be careful if you don't want any grief. do what makes you happy! life's too short.

I had to tell him as people in work found out and his mum works there too, wasnt fair on him findin out that way. He was upset n accussed me of happily going out 'on the pull' I told him that wasnt the case and everythin seems ok now
