am i being a pushover??


Got pregnant the father didnt want anythin to do with me or baby, he got wiv sum 1 else.. 6 months pregnant he split wiv this person was txtin me wanting to get involved blah blah (it neva happened) he got back wiv this person, i believe they have now split.... My son was born 12 weeks ago now... i have tried soooo hard to get him involved he did keep saying e would cum see him but never has last thing he tex he aint going to see/help out 4 my son if not got dna which is silly cos i no he knws hes his... Well anyway ive been gettin myself back out lately and we share the same local ive been twice now and hes been there... he's not spoke to me ive not spoke to him to be honest im past caring now ive tried so hard, obv i may see him again the thing is, am i being a push over?? what would you girls do in this situation??? when i see him i do not feel anything anymore i've stressed so much i just dont want to stress about it now!!

If he is not bothered then he is not bothered. See it as his loss and no reflection upon yourself at all. You have tired to include him, you tried to make things work... heck... you even tried when he split from his ex and came back to you. He might twist the situation to make himself feel better or make others think he tried and it was your fault but you both know... if he wanted to be involved no matter what obstacles you put in his way he would find a way.
If you see him when out then ignore him, continue with your night out as if you hadn't seen him [which I appreciate is easier said than done] and if he wants to chat then let him but only about the baby...nothing else.

Hope that helps and you are not a pushover, you just care about your baby...big difference.
