So, overdue and hormonal!

I am overdue now which is annoying and extra hormonal as MW said she thought I would be coming early at 37ish weeks... and nothing.

Anywho, went for a lovely stretch and sweep yesterday, baby is literally ready to go and is just hanging on in there for the sheer delight of it all. So I am led there, rather undignified, half naked with my legs spread out and just before she does her thing she asks about FOB.

It was refreshing to have someone else tell you in person that I owe him nothing, if that makes sense. My family say it all the time but was recently having doubts AGAIN about whether to keep him in the loop or not. Suddenly realised I had told his mother I was due early early April which is anywhere from the 1st... and still nothing at all from him. Was really expecting a letter or phone call and nothing. Just feels quite surreal someone can walk away like that. I get me and him do not get on at all but kind of still thought he might try and re-establish contact just before, or on or after due date.

But on another note... hope mini me hurries up... really want to start a new chapter without having to worry about FOB and pregnancy so much. Hehe!!!

Good luck hun, crossing fingers for you, hope Babba is here soon and all your FOB troubles will mean nothing once you have baby in your arms. Its reassuring when someone else tells you what a tool the father is, makes you think you are not crazy after all then for thinking he is a crazy, horrible fool.

You definitely owe him nothing

I hope she arrives soon. I had my first sweep at 40+6, was less than 1cm dilated so mw couldn't properly hook around my cervix (nice) and my son arrived at 41 weeks xx

It's disgusting how FOB and his mother know you are due LO early April and that they havent even contacted you.
What if LO was early?

He's done nothing to help you during your pregnancy other than cause you stress!

When you have LO and if you do choose to let him see baby, leave it a couple of weeks or so. You saw what happened with me after a week and I got really angry, stressed and upset!!

Thinking of you! Come on baby!!

xxxx

I hadn't thought of it like that, just presumed if she had come early it was up to me to inform them. Think I am done with them all tbh, what with the lies/stress/etc said and caused by them, better off all round them not being involved.

Thank you ladies... fingers crossed for her being here soooooon!!!

Hope baby gets on the way for you try lots of walking etc I wouldn't bother with fob and his family either I'm sure they will live to regret it later and it's definately not worth the additional stress x
