Finding it so hard lately.

Hello, my LO is nearly 11 months, and these past 2 weeks I have been finding it so hard coping with LO on my own, he is super clingy and whingy at the moment, I dunno maybe tantrums? he's waking in the night again upto 9 times, and is waking in the morning at around 6am!! He has never done this before nor has he ever been like this before, and I just feel like screaming/crying most days now I don't want to be a bad parent and I hate that I am getting so stressed, any advice on how to cope? I have been on my own since I was 16 weeks pregnant so it's not like I am missing some support from someone, I'm just finding it hard recently
Thanks.

I'm so sorry you're having a hard time at the moment I know it's easy to say and harder to accept but it will pass. My son is two years old now but I remember the days of early rises and up all through the night. My son didn't sleep through until he was 17 months old. Luckily now he sleeps for 12 hours (7-7 generally). It does get better honey.

I know from my son that whenever he reached another milestone it upset his routine. Is your little one walking yet? Maybe that's not too far off.

You're not alone xx

Hi thank you for replying, my LO isn't walking yet but is desperately trying to stand so perhaps you're right, actually thinking about it, his behavior was very similar to this a few weeks ago when he learnt to crawl. Surprising how fast you forget these things. Thanks for your words of encouragement

Try not to think of it as not coping because you are a single mum hun, lots of Mums with partners face this, my little nephew went through a super clingy stage with his mum and his dad could do or say nothing to help at all, so its not because you are alone that he is behaving like this, it will get better xx hugs
