PCOS dx 2009
TTC since m/c
Last AF's 12/08/2013 and 19/04/2013
So I started metformin again on 10/08/2013 as I hadn't AF since April, two days later AF arrives! With a vengeance! (extremely heavy)
Is this a good sign? I am trying to remain realistic, but wasn't expecting the met to affect me so quickly! I had no signs that AF was coming before the met.. I usually get major spots and bad headaches a week before..
Hey Love! I too have PCOS and was set to take Metformin. I took it for a few months and for some reason just kind of dropped off on taking it (probably because I was already frustrated with my weight/not having a baby etc). Well after a month or two of NOT taking Metformin I became pregnant!! Sadly that ended in a mmc but anything can happen!! I know that's not the answer you were looking for but didn't want to leave you hanging!
Hi I took metformin as I have pcos and I took progesterone I was trying for over 2 years and one month I stopped taking them but I did take a low dose of soya isoflavins for 4 days I think, you take it the same way you would take clomid you can buy it in health stores and I got pregnant that month and then 4 months after having my son I got pregnant again which was not planned haha my son is now nearly 9 months and I am due a little girl in February. There is hope as my partner had male infertility issues too
