Long TTC, 3rd Cycle Clomid BFP

I just wanted to share a quick success story to give hope to those whose place I had been in for many a year.

After more than 2 1/2 years trying, three cycles of Clomid for unexplained infertility and a prescription in hand for my next three cycles, I held off filling the script, buying any sanitary products and fully believing that it was going to be our month; I peed on what must have been the 50th stick purchased in all the time of trying. I could barely read the result I was crying so much, I barely finished peeing before that positive sign showed. My husband was woken up with me in absolute tears and then of course he had to double check and read the instructions just to make sure; we were both ecstatic , it finally happened, it finally happened to us!

We couldn't be happier to say that we are 28 weeks pregnant and the pregnancy has been uncomplicated, each day baby grows stronger, this I know cause our little is very active and constantly feel kicks and movements.

Our journey has been a long one, what felt like to us like an eternity; but there is hope for us all and I know when the time is right it will happen.

Even if it does happen after you've almost given up and bought an expensive car instead. LOL!

Clomid gives that glimmer of hope and can change things for so many of us. It works, and there are so many success stories to prove it.

As hard as it seems, always keep that chin up and here is wishing you all BFP's with lots of baby dust heading your way.

Clarice you have me in tears. My dh and i have been ttc for over 6 years. i'm 27 and dh 37 and are also under the category for 'unexplained infertility'. The doctor said that all our tests came back above average and that is what is making life for me even harder having to accept that i haven't fallen pregnant yet. I've finished my 3rd cycle of clomid and is 11dpo and hoping that this might be my month because God knows how much we want a baby. Thanks for the post because you've given me hope. If this month didn't work i'll be going for IUI and clomid next month but i've been having a few systems but had a negative result yesterday although my hubby say it's to early to test, I've gone through hundreds of pregnancy tests and don't want to excited for a maybe dissapointing no pregnancy this month, so please keep me in your prayers. x

Congrats to you ladies! I have a similar story. I took my 3rd round of Clomid this month. I normally run 23 day cycles. I tested when AF was late by about 2 days and got BFN. So, I decided to not torture myself and refused to test again until Sat morning. Tested with clearblue and bam! BFP!!! For all you ladies who haven't gotten your BFP yet, just be patient. There are plenty of us with great success stories and you'll be writing one soon too. I just know it!!!
