contraception after pregnancy/birth?

is anyone going to take extra precautions after they give birth? like the coil, the implant, pill, or anything?
i'm considering the implant, but having it under my skin might freak me out! i was on the pill before i got pregnant but came off it because it completely stripped me of a libido. Which i suppose was a very good contraception method!

I think im going to go on the pill.
I was going to get the implant, but me and my mum talked about it, and she thinks the pill will be best.

and she said shes going to
'religiously flick one into my mouth every night'

hahaha your mum sounds quite helpful! i just didn't get along with the pill, i tried 3 different sorts, my doctor was useless about it though and i ended up pregnant. so it's her fault. :/
i might start off trying the pill again, it's the least invasive. i wish there was one you could take at the start of the month and just ran its course!

Yeah haha, or just lasted 31 days and there was nothing wrong with stopping your period. I do NOT miss periods one bit!!!

I was thinking of maybe a coil. The kind with no hormones. Not looked into it very well yet but its definitely an option for me
