17 & Pregnant Again :/ - Page 2

I am 19 and pregnant for the third time, I have two angels, one unplanned when I was 15 and one planned when we were ttc last July. People do tend to look down upon teen parents, one of OH's aunts won't even talk to him because she knew about my previous pg. However, this LO was planned, and I still get the same reaction sometimes. People are nicer when I tell them about the fertility treatments and all we went through because it shows this wasn't an oops and was well thought out. But I think as young mom's, we will all face that, because it is no longer normal in our society. We just have to prove the stereotype wrong by being wonderful parents. If there were more teens doing that, I don't think people would look down on it so much. Congratulations!

Im From Manchester.. I Think One Or 2 Of The Girls Pregnancys Was Planned.. My Friend Whos 38 Weeks Is Married Aswell And Only 17..Which Is Quite Bizarre But Hey! My Pregnancy Was Planned Because We Were Already Engaged With A House Before I Was Pregnant.. So I Thought There Was No Harm In Trying.. Alot Of People Do Sound Shocked Though When I Say It Was Planned

Hello, congratulations + welcome. I'm Katey + I'm 19. I have angel babies too.
My daughter was planned after our last loss + even though people look down on me for being young, as long as my little girl is happy + healthy,
I couldn't care less what others think of me. Hope you're okay

We too have lived together for a year, both have our college degrees and very good jobs, and knew this was the next step in our life. Some people are ready for children earlier in their lives, and that should be nothing to be frowned upon so long as they are stable and financially prepared. Young motherhood should be celebrated, as it shows their are young people who have things (mostly) all together.

Dont listen to what other people say, its there opinion and it doesnt mean you wont be a good mum!
Im from manchester too! But noone my age has babies that i know anyway!

You're completely right. No one knows what position you're in and why not ttc if you feel emotionally ready and you're financially stable? It's not like you decided to get pregnant with no way of providing for your baby. I wish you all the best and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

My name's Emily, I'll be 17 in less than two weeks and am 30 weeks pregnant with a little boy. Congrats on your pregnancy hun!
