HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE
CHAPTER 165. BREAST-FEEDING
Texas

Sec. 165.002. RIGHT TO BREAST-FEED. A mother is entitled to breast-feed her baby in any location in which the mother is authorized to be.

Imo it doesn't matter how anyone else views it if the local law is on your side.

Nothing wrong with it IMO. Your baby is hungry, you feed him/her. There should be no shame in it just like there isn't shame with those who bottle feed in public. I wasn't a breast feeder & I support mommas who do it in public 100 percent

I'll be Breastfeeding in public again, and i will not be covering my baby face while I do it and if anyone has a problem with it they can put a bloody cloth over their head and see how they feel!

I was feeding Hollie in a DR surgery and a old lady turned to tell me how disgusting it is that in feeding her like that and that its much better for baby if i bottle feed!

2 weeks later after my milk dryed up I was in a cafe in Glastonbury formula feeding Hollie and the lady that serves us was like 'I cant believe she is formula feeding that baby!'

Pretty much eather way you cant win

In starting to feel guilty about planning on using a muslin cloth after seeing everyone elses view woops. I wouldn't of cared about people seeing my nipple before pregnancy, I used to get my left one out all the time to show people no matter where i was when I first got it pierced. Since fallin pregnant I've become soo self-conscious Is it really wrong to put a muslin cloth over your shoulder?

Im not planning on breast feeding but wouldn't look twice at a woman who was feeding her baby in public. Its just like giving them a bottle. Would not expect her to hide away because of others! My boyfriend on the other hand doesnt see anything wrong with breast feeding but if he did see a girl whipping out her boob i know he would be like "look at the boobs on that one" thats him being him though ha Im sure most men and the same they dont mean anything by it its just in them to get excited by boobies ha

No it isn't all personal preference, just like choosing to BF/FF TW/BLW its up to you there is no right and wrong, geez I was a right prude till i went into labour with Hollie and half the midwifes in the west county got to see me naked, I stopped worrying just about then.
