UTI maybe?? In pain!!!


Higirls!!!
I hsve been having pain in my lower abdomen on the right side since sunday morning, i didn't think it could be something important but the pain has become worse and now i have it on my lower back on the right side...i called the emergency line last night and a nurse advice me to buy AZO pills they are for urine infections and cranberry juice, so that's what i did and the pain got better but only for a couple of hours i wasnt able to get any sleep..it doesnt burn when i pee its just pain and constantly weeing..oh and i have threw up twice dont know why as i dont have MS.. Now waitinv to ring my mw and see wath she says

Speak to your midwife hun see what she says and i'd probably go to the docs and get a dipstick test done, you shouldnt be in that much pain just from a UTI.

Thanks for replying...I went to see my mw and the problem was that since I didn't pay attention to the first pain in my abdomen the infection went to my kidney too and that's why I strated with the back pain but I am on antibiotics now and feel so much better

Definitely speak to your doctor. UTIs are extremely common in pregnancy.

Sounded more like kidneys to me when I read your first post.
I had a kidney infection and was in soo much pain I couldn't walk and got signed off work glad you got antibiotics before it got worse

it probably started as a UTI then became kidneys.. exactly what it sounded like to me too..
drink LOTSSSS of water.. it'll stop it coming back!!

Definitely speak to your midwfe/doctor about it. I have been in hospital for 6 weeks for ignoring the same pain. I had a UTI that has ended up turning into a life threatening kidney disease called pyelonephritis and have had to have a nephrostomy fitted. Dont ignore it - get to your doc and get some antobiotics! Xxx

Oh how awful. I hope u and ur babies are doing better now . The antibiotics I got are woeking fine thanks!
