LO measuring small. Worried :(

So I had my midwife appointment today as am i'm 28 weeks she's started measuring me. I measured at 25 when I should be around 27 so now they are sending me for another scan. I'm really worried that something might be wrong and my OH and mum have been trying to reassure me me. And as they said with another scan we may be able to find out the gender this time. When the midwife checked the heartbeat it was very strong and they are kicking like crazy at moment so am I over reacting or do I have a right to be worried? Just some more reassurance would be nice

Im sure everything will be fine hun, at 28 weeks i was measuring amd week behind and at 31 weeks i was measuring two weeks behind, but they arnt to worried because thats just my rate of growth. Im just below the 50th centile if it drops lower then they will be sending me for scans, but i wouldnt worry untill the tell you to.

I've always been measuring small. I'm 38 weeks and only measuring 35, ive never been sent for a scan cos of it so ive just guessed its still good. As long as baby is measuring okay on the scans then you shouldn't worry like PP said they'll tell you if something is wrong the scans are to just make sure xx

My LO measured small all the way along, they sent me for growth scans thinking he would be small, he was infact predicted to be close to 9lb at 40wks.

He was 7lb 10oz

Try not to worry hun

I measure 2-3 weeks behind, but after two growth scans it's safe to say my little bambino is right on track!
