Hate my doctor!

Honestly, I don't want to go back to my doctor. Is it possible to change OB's at 36 weeks? I absolutely want to strangle mine!

He always tells me "That's normal, nothing's wrong blah blah BLAH" I know something is wrong My symptoms are getting worse every day!

I have SPD, okay, I can deal with that since it won't hurt my baby. But now I'm having signs of pree-clampsia and he keeps finding glucose in my urine???

I have killer migraines every day, My feet, legs, arms, hands and face are swollen, my BP has been higher than my usual 100/70 (it's been about 135/95 the past couple days) I have floaters in my vision that look like stars, I'm extremely light-headed most of the days now, been feeling nauseous which is odd for me, I'm usually dehydrated no matter how much water I drink and I've been gaining 5-10 pounds every appointment now.

And I have had a lot of glucose in my urine the past two appointments. I only drink water before my appointments! My blood sugar is high too. I tested negative for GD at 24 weeks so what could it be?

I swear I could just go off right now because of this killer migraine at the moment but I won't. I just want to know if it's possible to switch doctors this late in the US because I hate mine and I'd rather be safe than sorry! I don't want nothing to happen to my baby boy.

Seek a second opinion immediately. Pre-ecplamsia is highly dangerous.

I'm gonna try tomorrow because tomorrow is my only day I'll have a ride (I don't have my own car)

But I'm really hoping I can switch doctors too.. I just really don't like mine!

You can. I did it. I didn't like my first OB because he told me that I wasn't going to carry my baby full term and he said I was going to need to get a D&C. And I told him FUCK NO that I know my LO is perfect and is just taking her/his time' and I was riight! So I changed. I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter how far along you are. If you aren't comfortable then you should change. And def. get a second opinion !!!

Wow, sounds like he's a real genius! Sometimes I wonder how some doctors get their jobs? I'm glad you changed doctors.

I really want to change mine I'm just worried that if I call the office they'll tell me to just deal with it since I'm almost done with my pregnancy. But I can't stand him!!

Like I said above, I'm gonna try to get a second opinion at the hospital, because I don't think all of these signs are "normal in pregnancy" as my doctor says.. I'd much rather have my little boy be okay than listen to my doctor and think nothing's wrong, when something serious CAN go wrong..

That's really scary. I'd go to the hospital before switching doctors. My sister had pre-eclampsia and was induced at 38 weeks because of glucose in her urine. It's definitely not something that's "okay". I'd just go to the hospital to get a second opinion.

I agree with everyone saying to go get checked out first O.O That's a very dangerous condition and some doctors get into the habit of just assuming every person they see is overreacting, OB or general. -.-

And I don't think it's ever too late to switch if you can find a doc with an opening, I'd way rather be with an OB I trust than one I don't.
