Can't believe I'm full term! AHHH.
I had a home visit today, I think it was because I've moved into a new flat. Do they always do home visits? I was expecting her around lunch time, so I woke up this morning did the dishes, made breakfast for OH and myself and waited for him to leave for college. Then, just as I was about to start cleaning when she phoned to say she was basically around the corner!
While she was here she looked in the baby's future bedroom, the bathroom, our bedroom and obviously the kitchen/living space. Our bedroom is a state at the moment, I hope she doesn't think I'm unclean just because of that

. She said that the bedroom is definitely big enough for baby, and even suggested where to put everything. After she'd looked at everything, she did all the normal things that happen at my usual appointments. Checked my urine - completely clear, and my blood pressure is fine as usual! She then had me lie on the sofa so she could check baby's position, and heartbeat. After she checked position and heartbeat she measured me, she always mentions how I'm not exactly big anyway when she measures me because I always measure small. I am growing though, slowly!
After all that, she wrote down in my notes. As she was doing it, she mentioned that she likes me with a bit of weight.

My nan says the
same thing, apparently I look a lot more healthy, and I've got a bit more colour in my skin. I know this is because I've been eating meat through the pregnancy, and of course my iron has gone up to 11.1! Everyone says that I look a lot better, and less ill. It's nice to know I was walking around looking like a sick person for 4 years being vegetarian, I wish someone had told me I looked ill. Anyway, back to my notes, I have a question about the baby's position. In the notes my midwife wrote Ceph 2/5, I know what ceph is but I don't fully understand what the 2/5 is. So that's my question, what does the 2/5 mean?
I didn't really need to write ALL of that just to ask one question.
Now I have until 2:30PM to clean a little more as the teen start midwife is coming to talk about labour and pain relief.
