When does doctor check downstairs!?

Its sad that I don't remember this, but my excuse it has been over 3 years since my last pregnancy....so don't judge me lmfao. For the girls far along enough to know, when does the doctor start giving you pelvic exams either to check for dilation, cervix softening,or just anything where they check on there?? For some reason I remember them doing it fairly early my first pregnancy...pregnancy..but I don't reeeeaaallyyy remembaaa

I had them do that at my first appointment when I was 8 weeks pregnant
and I'm assuming when I'm closer to my due date, they will check
all that stuff again.

My midwife said about 36 weeks, as you're classed as full term at 37 weeks. But if you're concerned or make a comment that makes them concerned they'll do it at that appointment. (I had to be examined as I said an off hand comment that worried the doctor and he checked and yep everything was fine. I could have shot him)
