Does anyone else hate sharing that they are pregnant?

It sounds bad but I really don't like all the attention I get! Everyone who knows is like " omg how are you, how do you feel, are you nervous, what are you gonna do?" blah blah blah. I totally get that they're are curious and just interested and not trying to be annoying but I hate being put in the spot like that! And I know it will only get worse the farther along I am. Lol

I don't mind talking about it, it's telling the person initially that i hate.. i'm pretty shy about stuff to do with it as i'm paranoid about something bad happening.. then i'd have to tell everyone that.

I felt that more in the beginning, a lot less than I do now. I feel more comfortable talking to other people that have babies or/and are pregnant than with people that aren't. Mainly because I've never liked being centre of attention and being pregnant brings you a lot of attention.

i feel a bit like that, only because i still find the whole concept of being pregnant very overwhelming. i used to love being centre of attention but lately i've been quite closed. i'd prefer to just come on here and talk to people and other people with children/or pregnant my own age.

I agree with Linzi. I have found it really hard to tell people at work, and kind of let people guess/assume. It's not that I'm ashamed but because the people I work with are a lot older I always feel there gonna judge. I'm quite a shy person anyway, so I get a bit worried when people talk to me about it that there thinking I can't cope.

It's strange because when I'm out with OH, he's the total opposite and tells anyone and everyone! It's just the way I am I suppose. I also haven't told many of my outer family who I don't see often, cos they will soon notice!

xx

it's quite hard for me as my parents put me through private + grammer school so everyone automatically assumed it wouldn't happen to me! so when everyone did find out i got a few snobby comments
the one thing that does irritate me though is how i only told a few people + now everyone knows, it's spread like wildfire!
everyone's all "aw wow, you're pregnant?!" and it's all people talk about when they talk to me... don't get me wrong, i love my LO but i just miss having a normal conversation =/

I hate having to repeat myself over and over to different people, it drives me nutty. Then the disapproving looks that I get when I say we aren't 100% on his name x

It does get a bit annoying. Especially when it's the same people asking me how I'm doing and how baby is doing. It gets really irritating. It still irritates me now when people ask how LO is doing, even though I can actually speak for him and say how he's doing.
