| Pregnant (Expecting) Active BnB Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Posts: 599 | Feet and ankles swelling? Scared
Hi girls I'm new to the teen forum  I'm 24 weeks pregnant and I went to the movies today and ate popcorn which was ridiculously salty :/ anyway I know I should've stopped but I couldn't ! After wards I felt really faint and sick and when I got home noticed my lower legs and ankles were starting to swell a bit :/ I'm a bit worried it seems to come and go as I lie down and elevate them and drink lots of water but what do you all reckon ? Was it from the high salt intake or is it something else? |

if there's swelling then you defo need to call a mw chick, it could just be a normal 'joy' of pregnancy but can also be a sign of pre-eclampsia. better to be safe than sorry  |

Deffo from the high salt intake, I'd say. I ate movie theater popcorn a while ago and swelled up like a balloon.  |
