We do them over here to and I personally wont have it done. I know I will love my child either way and don't want to stress about it if it is. I do not think I would enjoy my pregnancy if I found something like that out causes more stress on the baby. Thats just me though X

I'm having mine thursday, midwife said the risk is very very low, but it's always a possibility! I'd rather be prepared with support and know what is coming, but that's just me! And if it's negative, then that puts your mind at rest on that! x

i opted for the scan test with the bloods, mine was low risk so didn't need any further testing but i'd rather know tbh to be prepared but that's just my veiw.

I'm not going to have it done, mainly because my doctor told me that the blood test has a good chance of showing a false positive. I'd love my bean either way, but I don't want a test unless I know the results are 100% accurate.

I would do it just because either way you want to prepare yourself.
