My bestfriend and I are convinced that I'm having twins, I'm only 11 weeks but I'm showing hugely, I look 5 months. I've had stretch marks near my hip more towards my back since I was 8 weeks. I know they say that you bloat a lot but I know what bloating feels like and it's not it. Is any one else know they're having twins?
Showing a lot may not be a sign of twins, i didn't have twins personally but a friend of mine was pregnant with one and it was growing outward instead of side ways if that makes any sense and she got bigger early and really big during the entire pregnancy. I wouldn't think to much about it until you have a scan, unless you are hoping for twins.
I showed a lot, fairly early, and I only have one LO. There really isn't any way to know until you have a scan if it's one or two, a LOT of women "know" they are pregnant with twins and it ends up not being true. It's a common fear, too.
Haha I thought this too for my second pregnancy,I got bloated super fast but since its my second baby I started showing early and feeling g kicks early,I also have 6 generations of twins in mt family and was convinced...but no twins for me lol. The only way to tell is via ultrasound or hearing multiple heartbeats but even then,it could be yours echoing being mistaken for a second baby haha. Goodluck tho
I'm a ferternal twin and I have my first drs appointment tomorrow so we will find out of I am having twins or not but I don't think I am. My sil said I was already showing but even I know that it's really just bloat.
People can bloat a lot, I know someone who at 15 weeks looked the same size as me at 27 weeks, she has a baby and bump measuring 3 weeks ahead and a lot of water.. I got bloat but I never felt bloated But good luck
you just have to wait for the scan i think. everyone shows at different times, some more than others it could be just bloating but it could mean that you're just showing sooner with just one? or indeed you could be carrying twins keep us updated when you've had the scan x
