So yesterday

My cousin found out at her 20week scan that shes expecting a little boy, she had her heart set on having a little girl and i can tell shes really disappointed with the sex of her baby! She keeps moaning that she always imagined herself having her little princess and she keeps saying that all boys baby clothes and stuff are boring, which is rediculous, ive seen some gorgeous boys baby bits!
I don't understand why some girls get so annoyed with the sex of there baby, you should be happy with whatever you end up with! As long as your baby is healthy then you should be happy with that.
Sorry about the rant but i couldn't find out the sex of my baby as LO had its legs crossed at my scan haha, i don't have a preferred sex and will be happy with whatever my little bambino is .

I agree; it's ridiculous when somebody throws a fit over what gender they get.

just think, over 20 years ago people didn't even get to know until after birth.. we should be more grateful that we can prepare better.

My OHs mom said she prayed every night that my OH would be a girl because she already had two boys and knew he would have to be her last - turns out OH was a boy!!! She said she was so disappointed she almost cried when they told her! I could not stop laughing when she told me this because out of his brothers - OH is the sweetest and most sensitive looking, and only one with a GIRLfriend
anywho, some women are just like that. I was hoping for a boy (and i got one) but really as long as LO was healthy - I didn't care if he was an alien, much less boy or girl!

I don't mind if its a boy or a girl as long as they are healthy. However we are convinced it'll be a boy due to hubby's family history, 1 girl is 7/8 generations! and they seem to have pretty strong genes. So if its a boy we'll be really happy and we are expecting it to be a boy but if its a girl it'll be a big suprise and we'll be really happy so either way we're sorted lol x

I can actually understand why someone would have a gender preference. I really wanted a little boy because I had only ever imagined myself having a boy and I think, especially if it's your first, you don't always see the benefits of having either. It doesn't make you a bad person + the majority of people that said they wanted one gender and get the other end up loving the baby anyway. I love my little girl and couldn't imagine having a boy now, and maybe eventually it will be the same for this girl.
