So Unhappy :/

So im 17, OH is 12 weeks pregnant i should be happy right? i do get these moments where i get extremely happy with the pregnancy, but then when im not like that im seriously unhappy/sad/feel like breaking down into tears basically.

I do get an 'urge' and they have been building over the past 2/3 weeks, and i know its going to happen, but i dont honestly know why. Me and OH arnt exactly the best right now, but im pretty sure its something else which is causing me to be like this.

Can anyone help?

emotions trust me i had my days like that i still do but then i feel her kick and i know itll be ok that she made me strong enough to b a fighter...... but you may have a form of depression so please talk to your doc.

i thought i had it, but then i started becoming happier so i thought i was just worrying myself but now everything has turn to shit

depression comes and goes i have it and take a med daily it has done wonders

im not a teen anymore, but i fell pregnant with my firs at 17 and my oh was 17 too. What you are feeling is natural, pregnancy is exciting but daunting at the best of times and when you are younger it can be scary. My other half was exactly like you but once he held his little daughter in his hands he looked like the happiest man in the world and we have been together 9 years this year, married, mortgage and with another one on the way.

If you feel like you are really down in the dumps and cant explain why please talk to your doctor as mentioned you could be suffering from a milkd form of depression or anxiety. Dont be ashamed to ask for help.

i know that when i hold my son/daughter, i'm going to be so happy, but thats another 6 months away :/ what did your OH do to stop feeling upset and sad? thankyou, im glad things are good for you!!

just realised ur from maidstone in kent

i have depression but i dont take tablets for it since i became pregnant, its hard to deal with. I have moments and days where i cry over nothing, feel like i cant cope, get angry and tetchy over things, but other days im fine

I would say go to the doctors definately and tell them how you are feeling.

As for my other half he just got involved as much as possible, and once he saw baby on the scan it felt more real to him and was able to buy baby things. Also just talking to eachother about ur feelings/concerns will bring you both closer. I hope you get back to being happy soon x
