we've done a nursery out for LO but i was planning to put a moses basket in my room for him for the first few months (so i can keep an eye on him)
MIL asked about these arrangements and when i told her she went mad at me + told me i was doing it all "wrong" and that i shouldn't let him sleep in a moses basket. it should either be a cot or a crib but i've already bought him a cot and didn't want to fork out for a crib he probably won't be in two seconds
you can probably tell she irritates me enough as it is... but i thought letting him sleep in his moses basket until he was ready to go into his cot was pretty acceptable?
My LO sleeps in her moses basket and im planning on putting her into her cot when she sleeps through the night so I dont have to be up every hour or so putting her dummy back in her mouth , her moses basket is right beside my bed and her cot would be at the end of the bed, so its easier when shes a newborn for me to check on her when shes fussing when shes right beside me. Trust me the moses basket is great! When she falls asleep in it downstairs we just lift it up to bed not having to disturb her! x
