So it's been a while since I've made any real posts here and I just figured I would write a quick update and let you all know how me and my chillens are doing.

As for living arrangements, I'm still living with my friend, Steve. We stay with his parents. My kids are still staying with my mom up north, so about 100 miles away from me. I visit them as often as possible and call and talk to them almost every day. I should have my kids live with me again in May, once Aiden is done with school.

As for my boyfriend situation, I'm currently single, although I don't think I will be for long. Steve and I were having a lot of problems and broke up, and I got to talking to my husband and another one of my exs again. So I'm back to square one on choosing who to be with. But I'm trying not to pressure myself and I just want to see how things work out. So for the time being, I'm staying single and seeing where my heart takes me.

As for my job situation, I finally got a job today! Yesterday, I had an interview at a day care. The interview went well but I didn't think that I would get the job because the lady who interviewed me told me that they usually didn't hire people who didn't have their qualifications already. But this morning I woke up to a phone call from the daycare and I immediately returned the phone call, which was a job offer from the daycare! I start on Monday. I am so excited!

As for my babies, they are doing fantastic! Poor Aiden has missed a lot of school from being sick over the last couple months, but otherwise he's doing really well. His teacher says he is a very bright student and just needs to work on his social skills, which probably wouldn't be as much of a problem if it weren't for him missing so much school. So hopefully this next 9 weeks will be a lot better for him. Other than that, he is doing so great. He's growing so fast and learning so much. So is Mady. I just can't believe it. My babies are getting so big and so grown up. Mady got to spend some time alone with my grandma last week, which she really enjoyed. And she is really showing her sassy side now. The terrible twos are nothing compared to the terrible threes. lol.

I think that's about it. How are all of you ladies doing? It's been a while since I caught up with you all.

And it's terribly hard being away from my kids. I talk to them almost every day, which helps some, but it's just heartbreaking when my son asks me to come home because most of the time, I just can't. I either can't afford it or don't have a ride or something like that. But soon we'll be together again. Especially now that I'm working...that's a big step towards getting my own place and having my kids back with me.
