Second timers!

How do you cope day to day being pregnant and having a LO to run around after.

What do you do to make things easier on youself?

Hollie has recently learnt how to have full blown tantrums over anything and everything, I find myself fighting her over everything.

She poin blank refuses to have a nappy change.
To get dressed.

The only time she is happy is when she is eating or I give her her dummy.
I stopped her having it in the day and only let her have it when she goes to bed, but she has recent started wineing over eveything I just give her it for some peace and quiet.

Im just like mehhh.

Ugh not very far along yet but Em has full blown tantrums ALL the time. Everything is a fight and some days are very hard to get through. Honestly I've gotten way more lax with what I allow her to do. I let her explore way more than I used to but she is almost 16 months now... I try to "compromise" with her a little but some times there is no pleasing her. DH has been helping out more on the days that Im really really sick but other than that everything is usually about the same as always.

Its good that your DH can help out...

OH is pretty good when it comes to helping out. I just need to go back to sleeping when LO sleeps and I find t really hard when I know Hollie has spent the morning messing up the living room, i like to tidy it up when she has a nap and get lunch ready for her when she wakes up. When i should jus sleep, becauseshe jus messes the place up again!

You know what, when Alfie was 13-16 months, I changed my mind about having baby number two

It was an awful age for us, he was physically able to do whatever he wanted but he couldn't tell me anything in words and would get frustrated alot, he also didnt really understand much. and it was just a generally hard age. Then he started speaking and actually understanding me and well, for the past few months he has been like an actual child lol I have conversations with him, can compromise ect.

I know I've not really helped with coping techniques but moreso saying that there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel!

Oh yes, I have been taking naps almost every time she does. It definitely helps other than I don't wanna get out of bed when she wakes up

This age has been really a mix for us. Lots of good but when she is bad, its BAD.

Everything is still the same here, nothing changed.

I mean, I feel like I am braking my back and do go over my parents house regularly to have some extra hands but I guess not that much has changed.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel? I always though it was the on coming train :hehe:

Hollie makes me laugh, she goes 'ah-ah dont touch' when she is going to do something she knows she isnt aloud to do, and she has started saying 'get down' when she is climbing on things!!! Bit of a give away!!
